I really don t understand why they wouldn t pick white. Sand until the surface feels rough to the touch. Or black but i ve been on a mission to figure out how to paint them. You never want to paint a dirty window as that will trap dirt beneath the paint.

You can use 220 or 240 grit sandpaper.
