When carpet tile first came onto the commercial flooring scene in the 1960 s this was the only installation method recommended. This is the simplest carpet tile installation pattern. For monolithic installation make sure arrows point in the same direction throughout the installation. The monolithic installation method faces all tiles in the same direction.
